Suitengu Shrine to safe childbirth
Suitengu Shrine located in Nihonbashi, central Tokyo. The Shrine built on 1818 and moved to current location on 1872, is dedicated to conception and safe childbirth.
Pregnant woman and couples with childrens visit to worship the shrine`s god, especially on the dog day of the Japanese calendar (dogs have many puppies and relatively low stress labor and thus are considered of good luck in this shrine).

Rose Festa in Jindai
Chofu's Jindai botanical garden, celebrates Festival of the Rose and the end of spring and fall. The park has the largest collection of roses in Tokyo, If you want to avoid the crowds a early or weekday visit is preferable.
Next to the park there is the Jindai temple, building started on year 733, the temple is beautifully maintained and there is a very nice line of shops in front of the entrance that maintain the character of the era and provide a perfect frame for this magnificent temple.

The thinker at Ueno park
An original reproduction of Rodin’s the thinker is set at the entrance of the National Museum of Western Art in Ueno park, at the opposite side of the entrance there is also a reproduction of the gates of hell. The museum established on 1959 and its main building designed by Le Corbusiere.

Jizo statues in kamakura
Jizo (childrens’ guardian deity) in Hasedera, Kamakura. Jizo statues are a common sight in Japan. The deity is seen as a guardian of children, especially children who died before their parents. Japanese people have great respect and reverence for theses statues. It is also common to see them wearing children’s clothing or bibs, provided by the parents who have lost a child
