Wall carvings in Temple, Ogose

Beautiful carvings in the wall on a small temple in Ogose in Saitama city. Ogose town is full of plum trees and the blooming season in early March provide an spectacular frame to this quiet temple.

Bell Tower, Kamakura

Kamakura is one of my favorite places: great temples, conveniently close to Tokyo, great short hikes, clean air.
This bell tower is on the back garden of the Big Buhdda temple, increadibly quiet considering the number of people visiting the temple.
